03/29/2021 - Our friend Jeremy West and Silver Line Theatre Exchange

#MotivationMonday at #fkityes

Friends, our next episode is right around the corner and will be up on Wednesday, and it's a #fkityes story that you don't want to miss.

Back in December we went down to Staunton, VA, to meet up with one of Christopher's best friends, Jeremy West, and interview him about his decision to open a theater company called Silver Line Theatre Exchange in the middle of the Pandemic.

Jeremy is an accomplished actor, director, educator, fencer, and stage-combat instructor who has worked at Shakespeare Theatre, D.C.; American Shakespeare Center ; Virginia Shakespeare Festival; Virginia Stage Company; Shakespeare Forum; Vanguard Theatre Company, U.K.; Next Stage Theatre; and Heritage Theatre Festival, among others.

He's also our fencing teacher, for those of you following along!

We originally planned to stay for about three days of filming, but (as apparently happens with us) ended up staying for about three *weeks*

The good thing that ended up happening is we got to spend a lot of time together and talk all things theater and performance, not to mention what it means to say #fkityes and just go for it and decide to invest in yourself and do what you love, no matter the odds.

You'll hear all about Silver Line Theatre Exchange and how they were able to operate with all of the restrictions on Wednesday, but for now meet Jeremy in a few of his guises, and if you scroll some, you'll see the theater company and his lovely family with Phoebe, and their children Heidi, and Alice.

We can't wait for you to see it!

Tune in on Wednesday at 8PM EST/5PM PST

We love you,

Maya, Christopher, and Jackson.
